Early in 2002, Ajay from KAAVA was engaged to provide an upgrade team to assist Toyota with the upgrade Financials from PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.4. Toyota Motor’s HRMS environment was heavily customized and needed extensive “decustomization” effort to successfully integrate with the new 8.0 release functionality. Successfully upgraded HRMS from V8.1 to v8.3.

The upgrade project was successful and Toyota was able to perform their Open Enrollment in the new 8.0 environment using PeopleSoft’s new eBenefit functionality that allows enrollment via web self-service. Toyota Motors is utilizing the following PeopleSoft 8.0 functionality:
